A dishwasher often weighs 50–65 kg; a fridge-freezer can reach 100 kg. ERZ kerbside collection stops at about 25 kg per piece and does not enter the flat. We collect cabinets, worktops, and appliances from inside the property — dismantling included.
Single light utensils that you can carry yourself may suit a Recyclinghof trip. For fitted kitchens, heavy appliances, upper floors, or a renovation deadline, booked pickup covers the full strip-out in one visit.
What we collect
Fitted and freestanding kitchen items from homes and small businesses. Larger strip-outs can be quoted with furniture or clearance if the whole flat is emptying.
Worktops and sink units
Laminate, wood, and composite tops, plus sink modules. Separated from cabinetry for the correct waste stream.
Fridges and freezers
Handled under ChemRRV for FCKW/refrigerant extraction before metal and insulation are recycled. Not permitted via Sperrgutmarke.
Dishwashers, ovens, and hobs
Heavy white goods above ERZ weight limits. Routed via SENS/Swico take-back funded by the VRB pre-paid levy.
Microwaves and small appliances
Countertop devices and small electrics. Often combined with a larger kitchen pickup in one load.
Kitchenware and mixed fittings
Utensils, shelves, and leftover hardware. Usable pieces can go to donation; the rest follows licensed disposal.

You receive a written price before the team arrives. Photos, postcode, floor, lift access, and appliance types are what we need for an accurate quote.

- A fridge or dishwasher is typically CHF 100–180; a fully fitted kitchen including appliances is often CHF 500–900, depending on volume and floor.
- Carrying from upper floors is included in the quote as a CHF 5–10 per-floor surcharge — never added on the day.
- ERZ kerbside collection uses a Sperrgutmarke at CHF 9 per piece (max. ~25 kg) and excludes most kitchen appliances from that channel.
If only light items are already at ground level and you can transport them yourself, a Recyclinghof drop-off can be cheaper. We say so when that is the case.

Not in most cases. ERZ accepts items up to about 25 kg per piece with a Sperrgutmarke (CHF 9). Dishwashers, fridges, base cabinets, and worktops are usually heavier. ERZ also does not collect from inside your home.

Fridges and freezers go to ChemRRV-licensed contractors for FCKW/refrigerant extraction before metal and insulation are recycled. Dishwashers, ovens, and microwaves are routed via SENS/Swico. The VRB pre-paid levy from the original purchase funds this certified system.
Can you combine kitchen disposal with clearance and cleaning?
Yes. Kitchen strip-out and property clearance with disposal.ch, plus post-renovation or handover cleaning through Züriclean — one coordinated sequence.
